they mispell things because the original protaganist nicky roth in hello neighbor 1 is dyslexic. it mentions it in the books. hope that helps think! probably keeps it in the game as just an easter egg or maybe quentin is also dyslexic. also, the two missing kids are the two kids from the first game. the girl is his daughter who his son accidentaly killed as we saw in hide and seek. the boy without the hat is his son and the boy with the hat is the original protagnist. as of right now, i believe this game takes plae between act 1 and 2 so we are locked in the basement as of right now.

Can I say this got me reinterested in hello neighbor 2 especially cause it felt abandoned also I like where it’s going now and as far as I can tell this I think takes place between the 2nd and 3rd chapter of the first game

I really wanna know where all the content is going to come from with this game. This beta is completely different from the alpha and tbh the beta looks finished minus some bugs. Surely less than 2 hours of gameplay isn’t what they’ve hyped up. They’ve hyped up an open world hello neighbour experience but it seems that we’ve completed all the mysteries the town has to offer in a couple hours beta. Idk though just my thoughts on it.
