If I had to explain her unique colour choice? I played a game (Elena of Avalor, hatch your own jaquin game), loved the character I had, so I ended up turning it into an alien oc. Since the given character in the game was pink/magenta I decided to play with those colours, and she evolved from there ✨

It's fun seeing a bunch of different ocs in one style, it reminds me of a crossover episode of a cartoon! I also totally get how drawing animal characters can be better than drawing humans because I've basically only been drawing animals for years

All of these people are so creative and talented in designing their characters. Ever since I started focusing on my realism art I kinda missed creating my own style, doodles and characters. But I've never been good at it. Realism is just. You see it, you like it, you paint it. No real creative freedom other than working on the reference. I might create some silly charakters, just for fun. Just to be silly. Kasey you always make me wanna to shit D:

Hullo Kasey, I hope you do even more of these! Your an amazing artist and as I do not even have a twitter or X accounts, i have been thinking to quit Instagram too! Well we will see . . . . I believe that if you want a more “painterly effects” in your characters while using gouache, one simple thing you can do is simply add water to the paint! This is a way to get texture with gouache and avoid that characteristic flat field of color. You be safe out there Kasey! I do enjoy watching your videos and seeing you develop your styles!
