🚧 A concrete forwarder? 🤔

Who thought of this? They took a forwarder and attached a concrete truck drum to it! These machines usually operate in totally different places—one on roads and the other in forests. But it kind of makes sense. They're building up in the mountains without proper roads. Still, there’s only so many projects where this would be more efficient than a regular concrete truck

This is genius, that forwarder has an entire legacy of being pinnacle off-road machine. Doesn't matter how much locking diffs, high ground clearance, AWD your precious Tonka truck is. Its NEVER going where that machine has been.

A forester really got no other uses than in the forest, but the forwarder has a lot of more usability to it. So it isn’t really that crazy

Yeah make sense but its much more expensive, a deere forwarder costs around 250.000 and a good concrete truck costs 220.000 and doesn't need to be changed😅

The companies that sell concrete trucks take into consideration that construction sites may be remote. The make specific models that are already designed to go off road. Unless you need an articulated truck for some obscure reason, there’s no reason to put a concrete drum of a forwarder.

Your videos explanation is horrible. For certain hard to reach places in extreme conditions it is a great idea.

I assume they make the concrete pretty wet due to the time it takes from filling up to getting to where itll be poured. I wonder if theres a heater for extremely cold places.
