In this video, Dr. James Tour and Dr. Stephen C. Meyer sit down with the Hoover Institute to explain how recent Scientific discoveries are pointing clearly away from a purely materialistic model of the universe and of life itself. Enjoy!

Reminds me of a joke I heard once: Scientists are talking to God, telling Him they too can create life, from the Earth, just like He created Adam. God says. "Okay, go ahead and show me." So, one scientist reaches down and grabs a handful of dirt to begin the process and God says, "No, no. Get your own dirt." That's the gist of the joke anyhow, I am not the best at telling it.

Thomas Sowell said that the intellectual elite rely on peer approval. But relying on peer approval only means that if everyone (even most) have the same wrong ideas, it's unstoppable.

*Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing" drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2020 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 40, 000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 85, 000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams. God kept to his promises to and for me*

As a retired software engineer, DNA is awesomely amazing! The code I wrote could only be run in one direction. DNA provides information in multiple directions in the strand. You can skip certain areas and grab certain other areas to provide information for something. I always said that if a human can think then I can write a hunk of code to accomplish the task. It may take a lot of code but I could do it. I learned many programming languages and there is no way I could even come up with something as complex as DNA.
The human brain is another thing that destroys evolution. The synapses are not simply binary. They are more along the line of fuzzy logic. I am amazed that people can deny the existence of God.
I enjoyed the video and will now goto the full conversation. Thanks!

"Fit the entire internet into a single gram of DNA". What a wonderfully and Divinely mind-stopping statement.

People! Stop complaining about stopping the video and commenting! It has to be done to help avoid copyright laws! I'm commenting on behalf of the YouTuber, he did not say this, but I'm sure he would like to in the same way.

I really like James Tour - he doesn't pull any punches. And Stephen Meyer is just a great gentleman scientist. Great team.

As someone who is working to become a professor in the scientific community these men are awesome role models and certainly Dr. Tour is a wonderful example of a Christian scientist in my opinion. Following Christ is my highest goal but following those who are ahead is helpful too!

I believe in GOD, and that he looks after me. I have had so much synchronicity in my life, that has worked in my favour, I have been in the right place at the right time so often in my life, I am looked after. Nothing to do with me, I am blessed.

My favored analogy is jenga towers. No matter how many jengas you drop, they will never by chance assemble into a jenga tower. You can throw them, toss them, tumble them, have as many earthquakes as you want, but you'll never build anything.

The reason is simple: The energy needed to destroy the tower is a fraction of the energy needed to build it.

God has already looked at every possible scenario in everyone's life, every decision, he's millions of steps ahead. God is amazing.

One aspect of multicellular organisms is that they SHAPE themselves as they grow! This is mind boggling. Each cell does it's own thing, but together, they are self limiting structures. And this happens without it looking at itself. So the 'blueprints' must be so extensive in information that every cell has a coordinate to occupy.

This is crystal clear, but decades of indoctrination about evolution is hard to get rid of.

Thank you for this. Somehow I had never heard the “time is our worst enemy” argument. It truly seems to unravel the whole billions of years argument for evolution!

My questions are:

1 - Specificity - where did the code to build something - to go towards building components that will perform specific functions - come from?
2 - Purification - how did the early earth keep molecules and compounds clear of junk, so it didn't interfere?
3 - Nature's lab book - if life formed but then went wrong at some point, how did nature know what step to go back to, to take a different direction (it's not like nature had a lab notebook) or are we saying it just went back to square one again?
4 - How did the early earth keep all those chemicals and compounds clean, safe and avoid degradation, without big freezers and so on, considering their shelf-life can reduce to a matter of hours?
5 - In-organic material never moves towards life - what gave that early life the instruction to duplicate and create more cells like itself?
6 - Repeatability - if nature kept trying and failing, the firmation of the first cell must have not only happened several times in many 'ponds of goo'. So how many 'failed experiments' did nature perform and how long did these take?

Love Steven C. Meyer!
Thank you for finding such great content!
Your works bring us all closer together, and closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

I think that Evolution may be the longest held bad idea and the most viciously protected bad idea.

I remember My dad giving Me an analogy about DNA forming through natural chance processes over eons of time. He said if you take 26 blocks, each with a letter of the alphabet on them and throw them in the air, how many times would it take you before they all landed in a straight line from A to Z? That is basically what You are saying happened with DNA over eons of time in simple terms.

Keeping it simple, I was an atheist who had these same questions. I believed in the soup theory, except for common sense, leading to deeper questions about that and a moment of truth erased it. I simply can't deny what happens with a sincere and heartfelt "hello" to God. Magic isn't real until the moment it just is. Greatest and hardest day of my life was opening the door. And I have to believe a lot, not all, but a lot of what we've heard is true after all. Both real and metaphorical. We've been blinded by the faith we've put into ourselves and our own creations. And it's happened rather quickly in the history of man. A couple hundred years.
I'm sometimes amazed by my own faith in God because I pushed it away so hard my whole life. Wisdom. I thank Him for the wisdom to see. The chance to correct myself and to know the truth. That's the greatest gift I ever received besides life itself. He didn't give up on me even when I had given up on myself. This IS real people. ❤
