as a Samsung user I don't need to go through all this thing, I will just swipe for corner down and the app will be in pop up view or hold the app you want on the previous menu then drop it in the middle, there you go pop up.

On my infinix note 11 it's just to slide the app tab to the top left or top right till it's the size of the pop up view. It's very simple and it's caller 'Lightening window'❤

Oh ive been doing that since a long, usually while drawing i need pinterest and like to have youtube podcasts or any long form video turned on so i just keep pinterest on pop up, Really helpful feature and much better than split screen

You can open apps in popup view by dragging down from the top corners. There is also an option to activate split screen by swiping up from the bottom with 2 fingers.

I think this has been standard since android 11 but it depends on how the OEM implements it on their personalization layer. If it's not available you can enable it in the developer options to use the AOSP one

You can also hold down on a notification and drag it downwards to the middle to put it in popup or left/right to go split screen.

One of the most important feature i found in my samsung a72(i know i am poor) few days ago is,
You can go in settings to 'colour correction' and there you can change your screen colours to your liking, its a feature especially made for colour blind people. But there is also greyscale option,
And when ever i feel too attached to phone and it start inhibiting my productivity i turn on that feature and it helps me alot use my phone less but still be perfectly usable

There is an easy way to do that ... From top any corner drag down and ur pop up screen will be activated and from any corner u drag to top corner pop up screen will become main screen... No need of going to recent app and clicking pop up view .. just drag from top corner

Also if you enabled it in the labs settings you can open a pop-up window by sliding from the angle like you're actually shrinking it and resize it

There's a gesture where you swipe from the corners. It used to be on by default on older Note devices but now you have to enable it through Good Lock. More convenient.

On oneUI 5, go to settings -> advanced features -> labs -> enable swipe pop up views
Voila just swipe from top right of screen
