People really believe that the death note can only kill humans because it was written in the rules. Well, I hate to say this but the only reason it said that is because the only race in death note are humans and shinigamis. If the death note should enter another verse, then it can definitely kill other races that are not undead.

Goku is clearly flesh and blood, so I see no reason why he should be immune to the death note. I mean, the shinigamis are note immune to their own personal death note. Again, the death note kills anybody that is alive so long as the person is not an undead. And the rules that it only kills human is stupid because human is the only race apart from undead in death note. Humans in the rules refers to mortals and not only humans. Since there are only two race, it say human since they are the only mortals in death note.
