ok hot take i adore the album version???? i love it so much it just feels so sentimental every time she asks “could it be?” and “finally”- like she can’t believe that it could possibly happen, and the background sadness and quieter instrumentals just add to that feeling. i do like the demo, but i just feel that the instruments in the album version fit the lyrics and overall vibe much better.
