BETTER QUALITY, BETTER VINTAGE BUYS | ANTIQUE MALL | SHOP ALONG

Just down the street from our successful morning flea market stop, an antique mall pokes out from an unassuming metal building. Is this where the dealers take the flea market finds? Are there deals to be had there too?

The answer is a surprising yes! Sangamon Antique Mall turns out to be a honey hole of its own, where quality collectibles fill showcases and longtime dealers are having sales. We have a great time finding the fun and fabulous, and filling the van with all it can hold! Lovely antique candles by Weller, a sleeper portrait by a famed regional artist and a saddle to ride to our next show all are reseller gold.

In between, we take a few moments to enjoy more of the parts of town dedicated to the era of Lincoln, and consider what it felt like to be here in those tempestuous times. All in all, it's a wonderful day of antiquing and bargain hunting!

Whoa, that yellow donut radio brought back memories! I had one just like it when i was a teenager living in Germany. Guess i'm vintage, although i feel rather antique most of the time 🤣

Love the history we get with your videos of where you are at. Oh i got that opalescent indian chief plate but mine the chief is color an not gold painted. The paint is his headdress an elsewhere. Gold paint on the rim. The paint i believe is cold paint because where there is some red an light orange

I watched Joslyn, (Crazy Lamp Lady ) recent video yesterday. She eyed a beautiful set of Treasure Craft canister set with matching salt & pepper. This three piece canister set was in a cool brown with mushrooms. Joslyn said she’s never seen this set before and loved them.
