There's one specific thing I adore about this story. When reading Lily's present, and reading her past, everything was so detailed, that when Atlas showed up 8 years later, it felt as the reader, like it had actually been 8 whole years. I absolutely adored it.

im glad you mentioned that colleen's first lines/ first chapters are all very impressive. that was the first thing I noticed when I read It ends With Us. I literally texted my bestie that it was the best first chapter of a book I've ever read. So fast, so interesting and really sets the dynamic for the rest of the story. Im def going to read more of her books because I love being so intrigued so quickly.
