It's been days now, and no sign of anyone living. Armed to the teeth, Mel has carved out a piece of the mall for herself and begins scavenging for what she'll need to survive in this retail wasteland.

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead is a turn-based survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Struggle to survive in a harsh, persistent, procedurally generated world. Scavenge the remnants of a dead civilization for food, equipment, or, if you are lucky, a vehicle with a full tank of gas to get you the hell out of Dodge. Fight to defeat or escape from a wide variety of powerful monstrosities, from zombies to giant insects to killer robots and things far stranger and deadlier, and against the others like yourself, that want what you have…

This game is so nuts, I used to live in the Sewers and it was pretty safe down there. I would sneak at night into the city above and grab a ton of supplies then go back down into my hole, Slowly I built a whole workshop down there and made a Railbike that I could ride on the rails real must have raided that whole city I had it all until I found a hidden door to a Science facility in the rail lines and opened up a HUGE spore event that slowly encroached on my panicked grabbed my bug out bag went up through my sewer grate and Immediately got G-Banged by 5 Zombie hulks and 300 Kid
THIS GAME IS THE ONE TRUE GAME I COULD PLAY FOREVER AND NOT GET BORED!

I get the feeling I'd love to see you as a mid-to-lategame character plowing through zombies in your deathmobile while narrating it in your pleasant voice. Yes explain the history of armorsmithing while crafting your own set of apocalypse armor. Good video!

Your Cata vids got me back into the game after a long break from playing and contributing. Whenever you see "unfertilized bird eggs" and baby chicks aren't flooding the streets in spring, think of me. ;p

Your vids feels somehow comforting, like swapping stories over a campfire, I like the psuedo-roleplay approach a lot. Fight on!

My last playthrough was trying to be the T*S*T*C character and basically being lord of the gym.

"We can sneak around if we're careful in these shadows." That's exactly how my last attempt at surviving the hell mall came to an end. I didn't realize tiles weren't binary as you point out here and that ended poorly. Also, I love the PR-24; I honestly prefer it to the cudgel, especially as retracting it makes it way easier to store in your inventory.
