Valentine's Day 3-Marker Challenge

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!
I organized a school-wide art challenge: Create a piece revolving around what you associate with love/Valentine's Day. I obviously couldn't compete, but I still wanted to participate.
I knew I wanted to create mine using pinks; it was a coincidence that I ended up using one Prismacolor, one Copic, and one Crayola. And no, the Sharpies don't count! I'm pulling the "black-isn't a color it's the absence of color" card! I used a canvas, as the ink didn't immediately dry and I could lightly blend the colors. While I smeared the sharpie with my hands to create light shading of the skin, I lightly overlapped the color in order to develop the texture. Finally, I blocked the background black to make it really pop!
