lol this was me in 2015 also (aside from the professional photo-shoot part). I didn't know much about hair/skin care and I used waaaay too much styling cream/paste in my hair, so it always felt tacky to the touch and looked greasy even if I washed it that day. I'm glad that I've learned so much since then.

I’m almost 2 years into my hair growth journey. I’m having a hard time transitioning from it parted down the middle, kinda pushed back to it all being the same length, almost sitting at my shoulders. Any tips?

I can’t believe that you would have the guts to watch yourself back to see where you have gone wrong in your hairstyling days. Hanz de Fuko now is so stale that there are products that I currently use that are better than them for sure.

you inspired me to start growing out my hair, my top is currently around a cm down from my bottom lip so I´m currently at the awkward stage.. what helped me not being so awkward though is wearing a bandana and a casual middle part hairstyle (for me it looks better when its split a bit to the side, not in the exact middle but that´s just a personal preference)

EDIT 10 months later:
My hair is like 8cm bellow my chin, I´ve had 2 maintenance cuts so far, I can tie it into a bun comfortably, however the hair at the bottom of my back side is just at the length where If I put it into a bun it stays there, but its not long enough to make a whole loop so If I go for a clean bun there´s just a ton of hair peaking out of the bun, Because it cant reach the hair tie the second time. Low bun isn´t an option because I don´t like wearing my hair like that, I have quite a big forehead and my facial features are not as sharp so a low bun makes me look more feminine than I´m comfortable with, middle or slightly high bun are my go-to. I am really close to cutting my hair, probably gonna do it within the next month or so. Its been a pain to maintain especially during winter, and since I don´t have a beard yet and have very soft facial features, it makes me look feminine. I really liked having long hair, I would definitely enjoy it more with a beard so I wouldn´t get mistaken for a woman lol, couldn´t care less about being mistaken for a girl, I just want a beard. for sure gonna go back to long hair in like 6 years or so when I´m 23/24.
