*Another glorious morning in Gotham City!*

Excellent work!! As a kid who grew up in the '60s, I watched Batman twice a week in prime time, same bat-time, same bat-channel. I believe it was Wednesday and Thursday nights, until Season 3.

Victor Buono, king Tut, vas only 26 when he appeared in the Series (but always looked older)- In fact he died at only 41 in the early 80s.

The people that played the villans on the show really resembled the comic book characters. Frank Gorshin was a great Riddler. Nobody could beat Cesar Romero as the Joker he looked just like the comic book character. Burgess Meredith waddled and looked like the Penguin.

Nicely done! Thank you for including False Face. He is the only one that truly scared me when I was a kid.

I watched this as a child, when new. The Riddler, Bookworm, and Egghead were my faves. Mr.Freeze was good.

Outstanding work. This perfectly encapsulates what made Season One in particular so perfect—a genuine sense of drama and menacing villains, weaved in with camp and comic farce. Adam West and Neil Hamilton were especially perfect at delivering absurd lines with the utmost gravitas.

Fantastic. If this had been seen in the 60's before it's premiere, this would have been the best trailer on TV. Adam West and Burt Ward were the best dynamic duo ever. Not forgetting Frank Gorshin, Burgess Meredith, Caesar Romero, Julie Newmar and all the other villains and supporting cast. They certainly need to revamp Batman back to this more comic book style. I don't mind these darker versions, but prefer this to all of them. It was fun and it was silly. It was actually seeing a comic book come to life on screen. In any case, great job on this trailer. A lovely trip down memory lane.

In the 70's, We'd be outside playing some sport but as soon as it got close to 4:30pm, everything stopped & we went home to watch Batman!! ...then we would go back to our daily activities at around 5:02pm

Batman was a mid-season replacement show (premiered January 12, 1966). The ads they ran during the Christmas 1965 season gave no hint of the tone the show would take. It's just Gordon and O'Hara in one of those "I don't know who he is behind the mask, but we need him now" scenes, cut to a picture of the Bat-signal, and then just the spoken words, "Batman is coming!". They took this 'mystery' approach with the press kits in November to woo sponsors: for example, a large "?" covered the picture of Frank Gorshin as The Riddler. It did build 'buzz' for the show, I suppose.

HA! If the show were to be premiered today, this is how they would package it for sure - quick cuts, intense and dramatic music. Yep, you nailed it.
