As the successor to the original Royal Oak, the 15202 is already a collectors' darling with its 39mm take on Gerald Genta's famously elegant sports design. Now however Audemars Piguet is giving the legendary Jumbo a new twist with a graduated green dial lacking the collection's signature Grand Tapisserie. So how does it stand up to the legacy of one of the most important watches ever built? And perhaps more importantly, how long's the waitlist?

My grail. That green dial is beyond next level. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a green dial that even comes close to this one. And platinum on top of it?! My favorite precious metal…when it comes to sports watches, THIS is the pinnacle.

Beautiful piece but 105k for a date function is just boggling. You can get perpetual calendar for nearly the same price

The dial reminds me of the Alpinist sunburst but much deeper and nicer.
