Good job FEATR on doing a thorough research on these food places. These are legit restos/eateries where a Baguio local like me would consider as a place to find that authentic Baguio flavor that we always miss and reminisce about! These are truly Baguio gems that we treasure! 💙💙💙

As a local of Baguio, I would say you really showed an authentic side of our city specially those comfort food which I miss the most. These restos will never be overrated. They will forever be our pride. There maybe a lot of traffic and tourists nowadays but we will never be greedy to share these good and fresh food. That Katipunan Inn is a total Baguio locals thing, specially with matching karaoke and ginC2 on the side😂

Hands down Erwan is one of the best food blogger! Not just food but he includes the culture and nature also. Ive watched the other video multiple time when he visited benguet and mt province long time ago, i loved its cinematography. Thanks FEATR for showing what our culture is. Im an igorot now living in Canada and this video makes me wanna retire and just go back home and live there for the rest of my life😂

Thanks for featuring the OGs of Baguio food scene and not the commercial tourist traps and restaurants often featured by other content creators. Kuya JJ is one of the best photojournalist in the city and his photos date back to the 80s as well as the most harrowing shots I have seen during the 1990 Killer Earthquake. He is definitely the best guide if you want to see a different perspective of a cultural melting pot that is Baguio. Good Job, Featr team! ❤❤❤

Omg! He made you walk up session road then up to assumption, then, down general luna road, through shoppers Lane to get to the miners hang out! Now, that is a real local food tour! Baguio is indeed walkable. I think that's one big thing visitors should learn from this clip. Thank you for the feature of genuine baguio eats.

Your content is top notch and not personality centered! It's refreshing!

Luisa's is truly an institution. I guess it's safe to say that most Baguio locals have fond memories of the place. If only Dainty's, Star Cafe, and all of the other old restaurants we grew up with are still standing. Thanks for featuring the Hometown, FEATR!

I miss the "secret" food being served in the Katipunan Inn area. Huge respect for featuring the local resto. I think you were the only one who featured them, especially the Katipunan Inn.

Lived the best 5 years of my life while in Baguio during college. I'm working overseas now, thanks to this video I suddenly felt I could breathe baguio's atmosphere again by reminiscing through your clips! I remeber watching indie films in cinematheque which I think got transferred in Ililikha. I left Baguio while the cinema was still a work on progress, I'm so happy to see it finally done, and it looks so cool! I remember painting murals around the city and getting a chance to meet Kidlat Tahimik. It's such a vibrant community.

I thought I could get over Baguio's nostalgic aura, but everytime I see clips showing the food, people and the culture, I start to remember every good memory I had in the city, with a bit of tears haha. Can't wait to go back home, ❤. Thank youuu FEATR!

Thank you for featuring the good ole Luisa's Cafe in Session Rd. One thing i appreciate about the staff, is that they speak our Ibaloi dialect whenever possible..Truly one of the original restaurants of Baguio/Benguet..

This kind of feature/documentary showcases the legit Baguio food (past and present). I think the charm goes on through culture preservation or culture-embedded items that are clearly shown in the food and different forms of art. I was looking at Erwan's reactions when he was served the food and I am more than happy to see him deeply appreciating what is served and how it is served. Most (not all) bloggers and vloggers who are just into views would show unappreciative reactions. They wouldn't understand since they focused on their perspective of what and how it should be, instead of accepting the fact that it is really as is.
Kudos to FEATR, Erwan, the Writers, and the Researchers who did this video!
As a Cordilleran, this is something authentic and unpretentious- an understanding of Baguio City as the melting pot of the Cordillera Administrative Region. I hope you would go on creating these vids for the rest of Cordillera and the country! There are so many underrated food that needs to be revisited and rediscovered by the younger gen!

This is why research is important, thorough ones. I think it’s what’s missing in most videos now, since lahat na pwede magvideo and upload, I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but it’s just refreshing to watch videos like this. As much as I want to gatekeep most of the places they featured, they deserve to be introduced to more people, to better understand and feel Baguio’s culture. Han nga ajay SM lang ti pappanan da.

Great job, FEATR and Erwan! 🫡

Im a resident of Baguio. Indeed, the restaurants you featured truly represent the local's favorites. This is by far the best and most accurate food documentary of my hometown.

As a local of the city, i can easily say that you did realy great in featuring the authentic side of Baguio. You featured places where some of the younger generations may not even know exists. You just made me missed home even more. Thank you!
