Got one for Christmas and tried to make one up. But my thing only makes half waffles using one of the recipes in the book. I fill the measuring cup to the top and pour it in. What have I done wrong?

Clever concept. I wonder if it's patented, and if not, how come nobody else has come out with a vertical waffle maker?

If I ever caught someone using a metal fork on my non-stick shtuff, they'd be on trash patrol for a month. Then I'd make them remove all the gum from the underside of the tables. Then they'd be forced into cleaning the grease trap, followed by cleaning all the grease trays in the overhead grill area. When they are done with those chores, I fire them...

I was just about to buy one of these till i saw the huge chuck of raw batter at the top. This is a definite no.

He was sloppy with his "half a cup" that was more like 3/4 of a cup, that is probably why he had the big glob at the top, use a real half cup measuring cup and it probably turns out well.

Except you need 1 1/4 of the that measuring cup to make 1 full waffle🤦🏼‍♂️

Jeebus flippin' christmas. That thing had a huge hunk of raw batter on the upper end of it. I call this a failure. No thanks.

The raw uncooked waffle handle looks terrible. I can’t believe I was actually going to shell out $80 for this product. Much better alternatives at a competitive price compared to this unit.
