Ła Ngamazwi amokugqibela ( translation )poem by Bathi Lugwadu

By a ray of light I heard from green flies,
That this man has put down the pipe
By a ray of light I heard from green flies,
That this man has put down the pipe
These are my last words,
I take a pen and paper because I feel hardship and suffering
I don't intend to leave harshness and disappointment
This wound hurts
Open the world and let me in
Fall on mountains, it is enough!
The victim is a victim because he didn't do anything. When I look back at home and see the situation, it makes one sad of you saw it with your own eyes.
These are my last words,
I take a pen and paper because I feel hardship and suffering
I don't intend to leave harshness and disappointment
This wound hurts
Open the world and let me in
Fall on mountains, it is enough!

Poem (translation) by Thobela Kuse

Remove the rags
Both are old
We bow down to God the creator and bow our heads in prayer
We salute the Xhosa Chiefs
Ahhh Zanzooooooloooo
Let it be peace!
Serve us, mother, we have been hungry for a long time
Bring the branches, girls, we have been waiting for a long time
Drink the bottle boys and enjoy the music
Nations are listening
Here are people, here are children
Here are women, here are girls
Here are kings, here are princesses
All eligible candidates are graduates
