From what i understood they actually put the mics inside the cockpit of the car, that´s why the sound is so different that the one we hear on TV, because what we hear is the mic of the onboard camera, not exactly the real sound of the car

The downshift sounds weird, I hope they improve it before the release. BTW, the game looks awesome!

Only thing that's missing : fish eye view from T-cam... I wish there could be one some day.

Game seems to be much better than previous years. The only thing that is not impressing anyone are the sounds, especially the downshifts.
