The kid is autistic and has issues with spacial awareness and tone. If you cant manage children with special needs you have no business in this profession. You have a responsibility to all children. Not just those that aren't nurodivergent.

In that situation, you can gently push them out of your personal space if they're getting aggressive and threatening, and if they don't calm down then call their parents and/or the police to have them removed from the premises while you arrange for them to be expelled. If he is getting physically violent then a shove is justified. But going straight to that level of shove is just disproportionate.

If you find yourself getting irate at an autistic child or any child the sane and reasonable thing to do is just distance yourself from them. Walk away and call for someone to come pick up the kid if you can't calm them down. It's absolutely troubling in every way to think shoving them is a reasonable response. The man has no business being in such a position

I am on both sides. The boy shouldnt have behaved in a bad way and i also sometimes think of doing various things when i get annoyed BUT the thing is i DONT do it, no matter how much pissed i am i dont just hit someone, except obviously the small fights we all have with our siblings i dont ever have raised a hand on anyone other than my brother and everyone with a sibling knows how siblings fights are and they arent much of a big deal. Even during sibling fights the max i have gone is slap and my younger brother had literally threw sharp objects and metal chair at me so u can see how much patience i have which everyone should. Well maybe i do have sometimes pushed him a little but thats far from him throwing a metal chair at me while threatening to murder me and biting me
