I enjoyed this talk, but I felt he gave too much support to body weight exercises. Push ups, for example, are quite hard for many people and not enjoyable. Same goes for pull ups, but they are even harder. Crunches are another body weight exercises, but most people don't enjoy crunches. The term "body weight" suggests that it is going to easier than lifting weights, but this isn't true. The pilates reformer is an example of resistance training that is much more mild than body weight exercise. So it is a mistake to imply that for older individuals, body weight exercises are an easy entry into resistance training. Just not true.
