Speaking of Phenix, I just picked up an Axis 720X3H today to pair with my HX Raptor for my 80lb and pinch 60 or light 100. Absolutely love the pull on it, and I can still fling sardines if I need to

Cesar knows what he's talking about. About a year ago he helped me fix a Japanese shimano scorpion DC 151

Great video Ray! Super info on the iron & the Orca tip. One lure that I’m adding to my next BFT/YFT trip in November are Vibes, looking forward to trying both Natureboys Tetsuwan & Yo-Zuri Speedvibes. Also I can verify that Yellowtail LOVE Riptides. Riptides in 155mm size are a confidence lure for me but I have caught at least 10 fish on straight retrieves with short pauses at Cedros Island.

Great video! I do disagree though at 7:50 mark. I think the inline single work just as good - I keep the trebles when fishing YT and rock singles for tuna. But either works, can't go to a 2/0 treble because it messes up the action bad. Has to be 1/0.

Last time I was on a good yellowfin bite I caught one using a Halco 130, threw it out and burned it back as fast as I could. Was a lot of fun.

Very nice video. Not a pro, but fish the Sea Of Cortez every winter for 4 months when I hit Los Cabos to escape the crazy Canadian winters. I've caught 2 Black Striped Marlin and a whole bunch of my targeted favorite fish Dorado (Mahi Mahi). Point being there is Yellowfin tuna there, but I've never tried to catch one but want to try. Thanks for the expert tips! You guys really know your stuff #Subscribed

I'm a private boater, new to SoCal, and haven't had the opportunity to be on top of fish to get lures to them. That means i need more time on the water :P

I put inline hooks on all of my current snipers and they swim perfectly fine. However I did go smaller on the hooks

🤟Great video. Just had a question though. I always heard that 60g-120g reflective flat falls were a go-to for yft but nobody really talks about them on tackle tackle talks. Also is it because they fall below the top feeding fishing that they usually get bit by yft vs dorado on top? 🤔
