"I Live in Future" - A Poem brought to life by AI
I wrote a poem.
I found it too melancholic.
I then attempted to use AI (artificial intelligence) tools available online to bring it to life.
The tools (after a lot of searching and fine tuning) helped me:
- give voice over to the poem
- find relevant videos that are used here
- offer unmistakable transitions that make narration so much more engaging.

"I Live in the Future"
Why do we keep living in the mess
we are usually living in?
What binds us to the land,
to the place,
to the office,
to the family,
to the people around us
even though it all seems to be making no or very little sense in our lives.
Why do we keep believing
we could co-exist with all this.
There do come moments
when we just don’t want to,
where we just can’t take it anymore.
The mis-governance,
the lack of empathy,
the self-centredness,
the daily chaos of existence.
But our nonchalance to make it alright
continues.
We keep believing that
we can overcome all this.
We often do.
Not overcome the chaos that surrounds us
but the noise of the thought
that there could be a life more sorted than this,
this thought does get drowned out.
The idea of moving to a place,
the idea that there could be a place,
a home which is waiting,
where it will be sorter than all this,
fades away.
For me,
the place might never come.
I think it’s my inherent vice
to not be happy about what the reality presents.
The reality is all too fuzzy for me.
Hazy.
I can’t make sense of today.
I live in future.
I obsess it.
It does make things worse,
and I can’t overcome it.
I keep longing for that place
that awaits.
That time where I’ll take that call
and once and for all
make things fine.
A call where
there will be no more future.
Only a past to ponder about.

I’m sharing the links of a few books that I think can add value to your life and even make you more curious on reading more.
1. One of the best and mind-growing books written. Read a chapter daily.
2. When you are interest in Philosophy but not sure where to begin from. Don’t think twice, give this book a read.
3. Whenever you feel that life’s unfair to you, just give this short book a quick read.
4. One very lucid, deep and short book on the sacred Indian texts and their philosophies.
5. I did not want to recommend a novel but then I couldn’t stop myself from sharing this one very close to my heart.
