A person’s eyes are about 3-4” below their overall height. If you consider 57” as eye level, that makes the average person 5’1”. I would consider hanging the pictures higher, say 62”.

Thank you for the information. What about heavy frames going into studs. Do I use wood screws to hang the frame?
