Logitech Harmony Smart Control and Google Home Integration

I've been a long time fan of the Logitech Harmony remote devices. The Harmony hub is a great evolution of the same that allows you to control hard to reach IR devices within closed cabinets. It supports wifi, Bluetooth, IR and RF protocols which makes it capable of controlling newer devices that don't use IR remotes.
The Harmony Hub is not the easiest thing to program but its pretty sophisticated and once set up can make some cumbersome and error prone operations really simple.

Does this require a chromecast to work? I don't really see the need to get a chrome cast as my tv has a built in 4k roku
