This Customer Is Never Welcomed Back! Car Detailing A Trashed Yukon Denali
Today we are tackling a 2015 Yukon Denali that I have detailed over 4 times with the last time being just 2.5 months ago... Look at how bad it is already!!! At this point I have to tell them that this isn't going to work for me anymore and to find a new detailer. #detailing #carcleaning #stauffergarage #cardetailing #restoration #pressurewashing

Very interested in video of how you started your detail business. I have now made my decision to start detail business and I could use some much needed help to start. Thank you and I much enjoyed your detail videos for the past couple of years that i have been watching! Keep up the great content.

I think you're feeling unappreciated for all the hard work that you put into detailing this vehicle. The customer is showing their appreciation by coming back for your stellar service and results. I'd just charge more and call it a day. 😊

I would just jack the price up until they say no! 😂

Only 2 months?! Good grief. They must pay for a house keeper too. I can only imagine the horrors they find....

Really makes me wonder what the inside of their home looks like 😳

With a little tape that’s a useable $100 tip you got there 😅

Be thankful you have a repeat customer.

When I watch these videos it's hard to believe anyone would let their vehicles get this dirty. Then I realized not everyone is a neat freak like me lol. Still amazes me though

I agree with some of the comments about keeping this customer! Can’t beat an obviously happy customer. It might seem to get old doing it every two months or so. I wouldn’t video it anymore. I also would like to see a video or two on starting/building a detailing business. Love your work!!

2 months is ridiculous, they need to opt for a weekly maintenance instead, im sure with what ever your charging they could get a few maitenace details in 2 months for that price

Well, it is a steady revenue stream and a continual repeat customer. You can book them every two months. 😁😉

I just gotta say, never heard of you but this video popped up. I gotta say you never know what someone is going thru but maybe you as the professional who is getting paid by them is a godsend to them as they may not have enough time in their life to clean their car out. They are giving you business. So keep in mind yes it may be messy after 2 MONTHS you don’t know what people are going through or how chaotic their life is. Be thankful your getting revenue off this channel from their chaotic vehicle and anyone else’s for that matter

Hey Stauffer Garage, I love seeing your details all the time! I definitely love the before-&-after shots all the time! I definitely understand if you don't want certain customers to come back if they annoy you for a certain reason. I can't wait to see more videos every week!

Isn't the goal to get repeat customers? I would think a detailer would be happy, not only is this a repeat customer, you get to charge them for a full detail each time not just maintenance. It is very surprising that you would want to cut off a customer that gives you this type of business.

I'm genuinely curious about your reasoning for not allowing this customer back. If it's reliable income (a repeat customer) and they are paying you what you deserve to clean this disaster of a car, then I'm truly curious. Is it because it takes away a spot from another potential customer that is new to the channel?

The hell! As long as their custom was bringing home the bacon, I'd do it every week if need be ! It's a vicious world out there. Take all the business you can get because you never know if that car is the last car you detail.

Yes to the detailing business startup video!

I'm not sure I understand your rationale for dumping this customer... As long as you are charging the correct amount (e.g., a car that takes 3x the time/effort to detail it should cost 3x the normal cost...), I would think you'd be happy to have someone bringing in $$$ to your business -- especially if they're coming in 3-4x a year (instead of once per year). 🤔🤔🤔

I agree I think it’s insane that someone would let their car get to that state! But just curious, if they are paying then why fire them? Again, only curious not trying to pontificate or anything! 😂

I personally have based my client base on customers like this. I've had quick returns due to those who do Uber and those like this with kids. Take it as a compliment that they trust you to do a thorough job on their vehicle. But that's me.
