Risk is a classic game that has most definitely passed the test of time.

In Risk you play a general in charge of an army intent on taking over the world.
The stronger your army and the more territories you acquire, the harder it is for other players to defeat you.

What I enjoy about playing the variants of Risk is that allows for a broader range of options. some of them are a lot of fun and there is room to have the game that fits your preference and the amount of time you want to spend on the game as some are not as long as the classic world domination game.

Tabletop games are really fun, but learning the complicated directions and rules can be a challenge. Lavinia and Peter explain the rules quickly and easily so you get to play faster while giving you all the tips you need to get better.

Hello, I have some questions about the 2 players version with the four allies
1)when I give a territory card to a neutral army, does the neutral army have to own the territory card that I give him? Or I can give any card that I want?
2) does the gold horse is played in 2 players version?
3) I didn’t understand when I need to roll one dice (the part where you said 1-4 and 5-6) I didn’t understand that part.
4)if my army and my alien army are both on a continent, does it mean I get a reinforcement? If not, can I attack my alien army to get a complete continent?
5)if I defeat my opponent’s army, do I have to destroy his alien armies too?

(I hope you understand, my English is not so good, sorry) 😅

I might be in the minority, but I keep hoping we'll see a return of the same time risk variant found on the PC game Risk II.

I find these variants very interesting. During Covid -19 I decided to make my own version of Risk by adding a few things from Axis Allies, and Supremacy, and one or 2 other games to make a WW2 version of Risk. I added Greenland to a homemade game board (36x48 inches) as a 7th continent. a total of 60 territories in all from the usual 42. you build factories and cities, naval units + air units and if you control a territory that has an existing oil field once you control that continent and build a factory you can start pumping/storing oil to sell to the world market to add more $$ to your defense budget. trying to figure out how to incorporate natural resources like water and maybe food also.
