New Shepard launch anomaly (NS-23)

Blue Origin’s New Shepard reusable launch system has suffered an anomaly after being launched from the Launch Site One in West Texas, on 12 September 2022, at 14:26 UTC (09:26 CDT). The New Shepard capsule carried 34 payloads. Two payloads were placed on the exterior of the New Shepard booster for ambient exposure to the space environment. NS-23 was the ninth mission, launch and landing, for this New Shepard launch vehicle (NS3).

Not a big fan of BO, but thats outstanding job with succesfull capsule escape! Hope engineers will will find cause of engine anomaly real quick.

The dust cloud was just the dust kicked up when the capsule hit the ground.

I'm just glad no one was aboard, even though the capsule escaped and landed successfully. Still would have been a rough ride!

Be honest though. That capsule crashed down hard. That dust cloud was not from any thruster.

Props to Blue origin for a well designed launch escape system. It would have sucked being in there but they still walked away.

That cloud of dust was kicked up when that capsule landed. If the retro's were working there would have been a cloud of dust before it it. That capsule hit HARD!!
