Nikon D7200 DX-format DSLR Body only

This is a 3 part video on the reasons I believe the Nikon D7200 to be one heck-of-a camera. In other words, it’s pretty awesome. In these videos we take a look at several images and discuss the great color the Nikon D7200 produces in Jpeg mode. Then we do a focus test to see if my D7200 has any focus issues on 2 of the lenses I used for this video.

Sharpness and high ISO performance is also discussed and documented with several images. If you are looking for a good DSLR that can give you professional results, take a look at this video.

This is part 1 of the Nikon D7200 Adventure. Here I mention some of the reasons, why the I really like the D7200. A few time-lapse movies are shown, followed by a focus test. Some of the first images taken with the D7200 are also shown. The Nikon D7200 Adventure continues in Part 2.

Really great cam. Especially low light capability. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Funny you mention the color rendition of the D7200. I have the D7100 and the D7200 and one difference that was instantly clear to me when I got the D7200 is how much better were the colors on AWB. Now I'm hoping Nikon will get it right with the D500 as well.

Hi! Could you please tell me which lenses you used it with? Is it great with Sigma 35mm f1.4? I have a D5200 and I'm using Nikkor 35mm f1.8 and Yongnuo 50mm f1.8 with it. I'm thinking of getting this or the D610. But price-wise, I would like this but I need to know if it's compatible with the lenses that I already have. I'm thinking of getting the Sigma once I bought this camera...thanks!

Hello, I have a question I've been wondering for awhile now and hope you can answer for me. I have been thinking about the 7200 and it has always been one I've kept in mind for the file it produces for timelapses in camera. I like the idea of seeing the output file first so I know immediatley if I wanna spend the time later on ramping, editing, and exporting. My question is how long does it take to compile the file? I would assume it will vary depending on the memory card used, file type, and the amount of pictures but maybe if you can give me an example. Like if I took a timelapse for 100 pictures in RAW would it create the file fairly quickly when I'm done or is there a long buffer and about how long? Thanks

Great video as always, thank you.
Judt one question, are my eyes deceiving me, or is the Tamron lens slightly front focusing?
Kindest regards, John.

You found something out here fonzy... if your focus is properly adjusted on your body you will not have to jack around with trying to micro adjust for every lens. I sent my D7000 back to Nikon and had it adjusted and from then on no micro adjust was needed. So my new policy is if it isn't perfect I send it back to Nikon immediately and make them get it right.

Nothing about the strangest thing about D7200 – only black and white pictures on highest ISO (51200–102400)? It feels not professional at all. Very annoying.
