I love how although this music is the opening theme song to a horror film, it is not scary, but rather sad. To me, this music depicts the tragedies of the first film with its sad sound, both to the innocent victims (not including the bullies. They had that shit COMIN'!), and to the two brothers who just wanted to be with their family at Christmas time, and all due to one single psychotic criminal, their lives changed forever, as well as all of the horrible tragedies that occured because of it in a ripple effect, and now, both of the brothers have been drastically tainted by evil, which never should have happened in the first place. Silent Night, Deadly Night 1 and 2 do a very good job of not only showing murderers, but also WHY and HOW they became murderers, and how evil is like a disease, catching so many in its web.

Honestly as awful as this film is (in a good way) this theme is actually really good. Not scary at all, just… really odd… almost relaxing. It’s good stuff.
