Wow, unless I am mistaken, this is the 2 liter turbodiesel version, isn't it? I must say the refinement is very impressive even under acceleration and at high speeds. Aside from just a little wind noise, you hardly ever hear the engine at all. It also looks like it rides really well at high speed while maintaining good stability. Of course, it is also the best looking German estate car around too! Really impressed. Thanks for posting the video!

I drive the Audi A6 40 tdi as a company car. According to the speedometer, it drives 255 kph on a level route without any problems, and 245 kph according to the mobile phone app. On a slight slope, I already had the 40 tdi at 268 kph (speedometer) or 258 kph (app). The Audi has stardard tires (225/60R17 99Y) and sports suspension.

Seriously if you wanna get this car with this tortois engine just get Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI 190 hp. Drove it yesterday, costs half the price but doesnt feel half worse. In my opinion this car goes only with a V6.

Why is a basic 2.0TDI now called the A6 40 TDI?
This should be a A6 20 TDI
The stronger 3.0 which I presume is the 50 TDI should be the 30 TDI.
Stupid marketing teams should be all put on leave...

Considering its competitor (the G30 5-series 520d with 190 hp) does 0-100 in 7, 5 seconds, this Audi performs rather poorly in comparison even though it's got more power. One can only wonder why they didn't make it just a tad quicker.
