California Native, Non native, & Invasive Plants

In this video I describe the definitions of California native, non-native, and invasive plants and I show plant examples of each type. I also talk about the California Invasive Plant Council (Cal-IPC) and their California Invasive Plant Inventory. Finally I describe the ratings given to invasive, non-native plants by Cal-IPC.

i dont understand the problem or the science behind it or know how much sense proposed solutions make. im sure there are situations where it doesnt matter if invasive species are grown, like in a pot on your property where it will never spread anywhere
