talking about this might get some hate but i think i've broken the ice there lol

naturally, i think a lot of societal conflicts are dramatized on social media since it's easy to go down a rabbit hole of hate and anger online. but i believe this conflict is playing out in real life as well. it's affecting the way people see one another.

ya'll...i've been trying to post every week but as you can see i've been unsuccessful as of yet (need to get better at time managing smh). we'll get there though. i'm almost to 500 subs and i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for subbing - even if you subbed just to be a hater ;).

hope you are all well and having a happy and safe holidays. happy new year!

thank you for watching. much love ❦

Very astute observation, and it's refreshing knowing a woman is able to call this out without worrying about some weirdo calling her a "pick me"

I can't believe grown ass adults are resorting to "eww boys/girls have cooties" rhetoric, and people are standing idly by like it's a sane normal and rational thing

Will we learn??

Hey Jasmine! Hope you enjoyed your Christmas!

Just so you're aware, the reason that people put the post its over their laptop logo is a protective measure. It's kind of messed up, but if the laptop manufacturer doesn't like the ideas you're conveying, they can contact YouTube and request that your video is removed saying that their brand image is damaged because their logo is in the picture.

Regarding the content of this video, I think that while there is definitely some truth to women being the advantaged class and not realizing it, most of the extreme viewpoints like those interviewed are held by a small minority of people that just happen to get highlighted online because it brings in the clicks. They are definitely out there, though, and I'm sure if those that hold the view had their way, men would be treated like certain peoples in central Europe during the 1930s and 40s.

Interestingly, I've also heard the argument that feminism has overall reduced women's rights by creating the need to work. This argument states that when feminism started, it was a movement that said women should have the choice of a career rather than having to stay in the home. Today's woman, mostly due to the ramifications of this movement doesn't have the choice between working or staying at home, but is forced into the workforce whether or not she desires it. Societal pressures from feminism paired with economic pressures that were created by the normalization of two income households make this the case. The early adopters of the two income household gained great advantage by upping their purchasing power, but as it quickly became more commonplace due to the social movement, prices adjusted to meet the market trend, causing first those at the low income level to now require two incomes to survive. This meant now even more labor entering the job market, driving up prices further, causing now even the middle class households to need two incomes. Thus what was first a movement for choice has now created the unintended consequence of requirement in the other direction, and those that would choose not to have a career are now the ones having their choice stripped from them. I'm sure there are some holes in this argument, but it is an intersting one from a socioeconomic standpoint.

I also found the statistic of how many men vs women say they're in a relationship. 34% of women single and 63% of men. If you match men and women one to one, there's a gap of 29% of women. Even if you assume all Lesbians are in relationships (5.4% in that age range according to Gallup), there's still a 23.6% gap. In order for those numbers to make sense, there has to be a large number of men in that 37% of men that are not single who have multiple partners. This means that as a man, if you are not single, it's statistically likely that you have more than one partner. This suggests that women as a group are interested more in seeking a top tier of man than they care about monogamy.

Ok, that's like a 20 minute analysis of a 10 minute video. I'll shut up now. 🤣

Women have the option to be a housewife, Not face the danger of draft like what's happening in Ukraine/Russia right now with hundreds of thousands men dead. Men meanwhile have to always look out for themselves.
