I am an antiochian greek currently living in Hatay/Turkey. We're about 1200 people maximum, and that's all we are. My grandfather was born in 1908 in Smyrna and was deported in 1923, married to my grandmother who was abandoned by her mother due to poverty and adopted by another Ionian Greek mother. Great stories of heritage

You forgot about the Istanbul Pogrom of 1955, which forced the last Greek inhabitants of the city to emigrate. That was really the end of any viable Greek population in Turkey.

I am α greek living in Greece but my anchestors used to live near Bursa and from my mother side in Cilivri (near Istanbul)..if someone asks me from where I am, I always respond that I am a greek from minor asia..it is such an important area..birthplace of Philosophy! Nice video!
