You might consider doing the jumper and a Spencer jacket which is high-waisted and ends at your underbust. You can cut the Spencer to where it just trails along the sides of your bust and underneath and put in a false panel to create a jacket that can close up if you want.. It would kind of give you the same shape as the Marilyn Monroe dress from gentleman prefer blondes It's the scene where her fiance's father meets up with them if that helps. You can line the jacket collar with the same fabric to do a blouse to match. That can give you a minimum of 4 looks that you can change up with different blouses under the jumper. Enjoy your holidays.

I'd do a skirt and sleeveless blouse and if I had enough fabric, a matching bolero to the blouse. Otherwise, probably the skirt and sleeved blouse, just for multiple wearability options. No matter what, a self matching belt also
