I just want to say thank u. I play solo and I had quit playing rust for a few months because it was just getting to be to much. You build up ur loot for a group to come raid u and u start all over again, but I built my base off this design and I was raided just a few min ago, not only did they take over a hour to get into my base at the end I locked myself in the bunker with all my high end loot and for the first time in my rust playing the raiders either ran out of boom or gave up cause they left. So I hurried up made repairs and when they came back they shot rockets from the tree line at tge base and happen to blow open one side but when they saw I had all my doors back up and had even upgraded a few spots I had neglected to upgrade they left again. I never lost anything I cared about losing but most importantly I didn't lose my base. Hell yea I won for the first time, and it feels great. So thank u for sharing this build and if anybody is trying to choose a beginner base as a solo I strongly urge you to build this base. It will cost raiders way to mu h to get into ur base after u upgrade and if u get lucky and get online raided u can definitely defend ur base with this design. I'm not a strong pvp player but I held a 5 man team off for a hour before they over ran me and I fell back to my closed up bunker. And the cost was just to much they quit the raid long enough for me to make repairs and when they came back all they wanted to do is shoot rockets at me cause they were pissed. I was laughing inside my base as I was shooting them with my sniper rifle cause they wouldn't leave the tree line this time. I could hear them asking how 3 people could live in such a small base. Which just made me laugh more they thought I was 3 ppl. So again I strongly urge you to try this base it's awsome. Thank u for all u do for the beginners and solos out there just trying to make it in this brutal game of RUST

Watched the whole video twice and I don't see an explanation for why the triangle at the first door is still twig. So I'm stuck because it must be a reason but I don't know what so I can't build it because I will probably waste my time building it.

really wish more people would do this without noclip it makes it harder to follow when they fly from one end of the base to the other and start placing more stuff also noticed a few spots were there was items placed without us being shown placing them [which would be fine if you had told us you were placing items there since for most its now a blank space]. jumpcuts well nice to look at also make this harder to follow since every time you jump cut you moved to a separate part of the base that then force us to reorientate to if were building this all in one go

One tip, if you use the brutalist skin when placing tool cupboard you can use the third circle image from the line where you stand on a fundation to the fundation of the cupboard. Much easier to get the placement 100% done right, dont even need to practice this.

If the gate house is a foundation higher than the double frames on the base what do i do for the floor frames

This base have 2 weak spots on the walls, the walls by left side of entrance (to TC) and right side of the entrance (to bunker) have only 2 (1 sheet 1 HQM layers. And incase bunker is open its 2 sheet walls to core from right side or entrance. The back walls is 3 layers. Was this thought about.

So this is my go-to base however. I put another layer of honeycomb. On the outside. Because everyone knows this base. And it's smart ro change ur jump up location. So people don't notice. I jave not tried the externals yet. But hopefully I can make it work.
