What Are Active Galaxies?

Показать описание
Most of the galaxies we observe are considered normal. We inhabit a normal galaxy called the Milky Way. When you observe a normal galaxy, most of the light comes from the stars in visible wavelengths and is evenly distributed throughout the galaxy. But if you look at some galaxies, you will see intense light coming from their nuclei. These are active galaxies.

You should discover about Firefly 44. It's Milky way twin brother. But the strangest part is its made entire by dark matter. I wonder what Black hole in the center of the galaxy will look and act like.

Can we get detailed videos on types of stars and galaxies, one dedicated to each type, please?
I know you've made some videos on them, but they are pretty short and abstract.

Humble request

this is exactly the summary about active vs. non-active galaxies that I was searching for. Well done. Thanks.
