Scene One: Regression - Dream Theater (Guitar Cover)

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to Marz Covers after my long hiatus in uploading. If you don't already know, I'm Mario Gonzalez, a 15 year old guitarist who has been playing since 2010. I've always listened to and played popular songs from metal bands, but I had never really gotten into or known about the incredible Progressive band Dream Theater until about a year ago, when I heard my first album from them, and became absolutely obsessed. Since then, I've listened to most of their discography, with the exception of a couple of albums. The album that I fell in love with the most, however, was Metropolis Pt.II: Scenes From A Memory. After realizing that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the song, and having the chance to see Dream Theater play the entire album live, I thought it would be fitting to follow their concert routine, and cover the entire album on this YouTube channel. (I will also continue to upload other videos as I continue this series.)

We begin our story with the incredible introduction of Regression. Our protagonist, Nicholas, begins to enter regression therapy, and is put under a hypnotic trance, in which he sees a woman named Victoria Page. The story only gets better from here, and I can't wait to continue it with all of you. Enjoy.
