I own a type of boat which used to be very popular in Europe in the mid 80s, but which has almost disappeared today. It's a small 15 foot cabin cruiser which was initially designed for fishing or family use. the cabin has a v birth so that one can spend a night on board, occasionally. This type of boat was affordable, powered by a single mid power outboard engine. It's outdated regarding today's standards, but I like these boats. I don't know if they used to be popular in the US too.

I like that design on the first boat. As a multihull sailor my self, I like quieter the better. I love all boats, but there’s something to be said to being able to sail along and only hear the wind and the water rushing by underneath. My buddies that motor always trip out at the silence when they some aboard for a day sail. Lol good stuff. 👍

Dual console boats can be anything from a ski boat intended for lakes up to a boat that is just as ocean worthy as any center console. My wife and I own a Mako 205 dual console, and it really knocks holes in waves for a 20 footer.

Don’t forget to add that a lot of folks convert their Pontoons to fishing boats. Check out Angler Quest pontoons, they’re and Amazing boat. Ive converted my Pontoon to troll and also to Speck fish at night. Love your channel!

Left out a very popular type of boat on the west coast and that’s the aluminum river sled or more often just referred to as a sled. Also drift boats.

Trawlers are very popular up here in the Puget Sound area. I just added to my collection of boats Aaron. 2 of mine were built here in WA State. Just bought a 91' 19 ft Seaswirl cuddy with a Johnson outboard my other 2 boats are a 1959 15 ft, and a 1978 17 ft (Mercruiser 470 power) 👎👎
