0:57. Run it at 1/4 speed and it's still fast. Props to that young man being a self-made human howitzer round.

As a Jiu-Jitsu guy, one of my regrets is I never got to wrestle seriously. I have tremendous respect for the sport and I just love this vid. The athleticism, the hard training, the explosions, the technique, the coaching about taking a moment to reset mentally. Beautifull.

I miss D1 wrestling. Grinding it out with great teammates, learning together, working off 6-8 pounds of sweat, and having good coaches working you to that next level. It feels great walking out of a practice that you just knew made you a better wrestler at the end of the day.

When your coach can actually perform the moves, you know you are blessed! 🙌

Warmest place in Ann Arbor! That struck a nerve. I remember coming in to the wrestling room on cold winter day. It was my home.

I regret not sticking with wrestling.
wrestled for four years 3 middle school 1.5 high school and some club yet I never realized how much I loved the feeling of hating myself from working so hard. No workout like it and no tougher sport mentally. Wrestling will always be the #1 sport in my heart.

I never wrestled, but this is the greatest sport on earth and produces the best all-around athlete hands down. Thanks for the awesome vid!

This is why they’re among the best in the world. Great coaches and great training. Reminds me of high school in Randolph, NJ.

Love seeing behind the scene footage on all sports, just so happens that collage wrestling is my favorite !

I went to the University of Michigan wrestling camp back in the summer of 1989 between my freshman and sophmore year of high school. There were hundreds of kids there. My record went from 6-10 as a freshman to 16-8 as a sophmore because of that camp.
The head coach was all class. He gave me a ride to Ann Arbors' tiny airport for my parents to get me when camp ended.
Looong time ago, but a great experience and great program

I think its great that these young athletes are working hard and putting in the effort. They are really going to make something of themselves. Keep up the good work!

I mean... if you wrestle at this or near this level, any other sport you enter, you will have a major physical and mental advantage.

good coaching. good system. I almost care about that more than any specific sport. When you see a coach and staff that has the system, the stations, the drills, the stop watch, the segmentation, the gauntlet, when you see that kind of organization, you want people you care about to have that kind of experience and be a part of a program like that.

What an amazing coach. No wonder Michigan gets so many top level transfers. He’s a mature athletes coach.

I wrestled. In fact I was state champion in high school in middle weight in Indiana. .
Had a college wrestling scholarship too. Wrestling is an intense muscular driven sport.
And I took to it like a fish to water. And I didn’t try out until my junior year in high school.
My only regret I didn’t stay at it in college and develop enough to go to The Olympics.

Dig the music. Wrestling is not for everybody. The level of dedication is way up there. Respects to those who do it

The program's explosiveness is on another level.
