Thank you Dorothy, Patricia and Barbara for the new friendship! <3 My younger self is jumping high right now to have fulfilled the dream of visiting an elderly home. Both Ammar and I are beyond grateful for the friendships and memories that were created from this trip.
Now we encourage you guys to reach out to elderly homes (or connect with elders in general) and give them a visit. It’s wild what you can learn by asking a question or two. Keep living with an open heart homies! / Staffan

I think Staffan should just have his own senior channel where he literally just does this all over the world. More of this, please!

We can't wait to see Dorothy's next adventures in Australia!

Hey guys, love this video.
I'm a doctor, preparing for residency training. My dream by the end of my career is to build a old folks center and an orphanage/foster center side by side. This will allow our elders to have company of children, which they love, and will give our children caring grandparents.
Its my dream, I promise if i live long enough I will do it!!

"I'm older than that bridge"- what a sweetie. She was so touched. It's heart warming.

It's astonishing how sharp and quick-witted Dorothy is at 102 year old. She's always so quick to come up with a funny answer. Great sense of humor too.

When he said you ladies look beautiful to Patricia and Barbara I started crying at her “no one has said that in a lot of years”. You are such a kind soul to bring them that reminder of love☺️

This really does change my perspective of what it means to be 80, 90, 100 years old. I always though living to 80 would be a great feat, but now I'm realizing that's still so young, there is a lot of life to be lived well into our later years.

This is insane because after watching this video this morning I went to a local home and asked to just interact with people and I was allowed, I was there for 3 hours and I must admit I learned a lot of new things and had an amazing time, I plan on returning my next day off. Thanks for inspiring me to step out my comfort zone and do something I wouldn’t have done ever.

I work at a retirement home just as a server in a dining room....I teared up.

Dorothy made me think of a resident at my place. She has been to every continent except for South America, she told me that travel is the spice of life.... she's 94, and every day she makes sure to remind me that she is super grateful for being upright.

You guys went to the BEST possible place for a senior home! I’m from the North Bay, and I can honestly say the people here are just like the wonderful people in this video. Love this!

In my home country of the Netherlands there are more and more initiatives similar to this video. Because young students are having difficulty finding places to live, they are moving into retirement homes cheaply. There they help out with taking (mentally, no actual nursing) care of the residents. I think it's a nice system to give people a place to live and take care of lonely elderly

I really liked the CEO of Redwood. I’ll never be lucky enough to live there! What a blessing for those people!
