Why fill with 6r80 LV oil instead of the oem spec 10R80 ULV trans oil???

Just had to have my 10r80 rebuilt, would really like some clarity on why Caspers used LV instead of ULV which IRV at Raybestos told my trans builder to use...
The stock trans filter is dual media with a dissimilar metal valve that will direct hot fluid thru a smaller micron filter media after it warms up but while cool it flows thru a smaller ( by area ) but less dense filter media area to keep the pump fed. The filter itself even has a magnet inside it...quite a piece...
We were told LV in place of ULV while obviously having more holding power would run hotter and not be compatible with the high tech stock filter leading to pump starvation especially when cool....
You know im on my 3rd engine and 2nd trans in 10k miles, still haven't made a full track pass yet, any details you can provide would be super appreciated....

Also whats upgraded in the new converter vs the old? If that's coming in a later video no worries but if you could just confirm the LV fluid issue....even the Raybestos replacement filter recommends ULV for the 10r80....

Thanks looking forward to see how it goes, people shit on the 10r80, but even as someone who had to build his at only 700whp, they are a marvel, they are also incredibly durable outside the area to add frictions....and the converter relying on a non replaceable liner to hold all the power past 4000rpm in 2nd gear ( hence why the Mach 1 got a new converter and early on circle D ect recommended using the larger diameter truck core; its only a converter at idle, 1st gear, and a little ways into 2nd the rest of the time its locked 1 to 1)...

How much did they individually cost you? Im really curious bc my MT-82 was worked on by a bad Ford mechanic and he did a lot that made me think he messed it up. Instead of buying a new stock transmission and transfer case (Manual transmission here) I'd like to get something better but im also not rich so any round about numbers would be really helpful. Thanks
