I love this man and genuinely love the work he does. I recently sent him a message saying i want to get help for my house and he immediately answered my message (like that day) and then he said the price unfortunately it was too high for me and i couldnt get it. This is why it was a Muslim, specifically Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn al-Hasan ibn al-Haytham, who wrote a groudbreaking treatise on spherical geometry in 1040. Ibn al-Haytham was a polymath and genius rivaling nearly everyone who came before or after, and just the summary of his work is astonishing. He's best remembered for his work in optics, being the first to propose a correct theory of vision, but he had many, many other accomplishments.
