Full Paint Respray TRANSFORMED My 23 Year Old Mazda MX-5 NA!

Full new paint respray in British Racing Green (the original colour and code) for my Mazda MX-5 NA / Miata! Very happy with how it came out, a few little bits to clean up, particularly on the spoiler, but overall I'm very happy. Huge thanks to Arun!

If you don't already, use two buckets with grit guards. One for the shampoo and the other with clear water to rinse the washmitt. Respray looking good. The white spots may have been due to moisture in the spray gun.

Looks great - I'm contemplating doing a full respray on my BRG also.

One thing I noticed - you need to adjust the trail edge of your pop-ups to get them to sit flush with the bonnet line!

I just recently resprayed the sills on my first car, no experience with painting before but just spray canned it with primer, colour coded paint and lacquer and it looks amazing, honestly way easier than I thought! Your car looks Brill 😎👍🏻

quick tip for when cleaning your car, always go top down (sides first) then do the back and then the front, then do the lower rocker panels as this will reduce the amount of grit and dirt messing up the paint at the start and giving little swirls in the paint, and obviously rinse the mitt, im also wondering did you try machine polishing the "matt" area of the cars as this may have brightened them up a bit

When it comes to any 1990’s - 2000’s car I think black is always the way to go, I think nothing shows it’s age like a late nineties blue A3, black always hides dodgy lines and shines up nicely👌🏽

You gotta lift up your headlight covers, you can see at 7:34 they’re not quite flush. Literally you just grab the edge and pull a bit to bend it back to shape, makes a big difference. Other than that it looks great.
