I don't understand why the American boarder is our problem. Why then is gun smuggling from the states not their problem

Tariffs up, uncertainty up! 📈 But one thing that stays strong? Local businesses that keep communities thriving. 🇸🇬 While global trade shifts, let’s focus on what we can control—supporting Singaporean small businesses that drive innovation and create jobs. Who else thinks a resilient local economy is the best defense against global uncertainty? Let’s back local and stay strong! 💪✨

Even as the closest ally Trump does not show any mercy by raising 25% tarrif on Canadian goods, big slap on Canadian politicians' face.

Mexicans are used to suffering and getting ahead with effort and work. US are not. We are not afraid of the United States or Trump.

Poor American people always lose with their tinsel rulers.
I think that all this talk of raising tariffs directly affects the pockets of American consumers more than it does foreign companies.
In the end it doesn't matter who is in charge because the people always lose.

🇲🇽🇺🇸 Mexico is a great country, the best military and strategic commercial partner in the world for the United States of America, much more than Canada, it must make Mexico spend more on defense to deter the enemies of the United States from attacking through Mexico, also strengthen the Mexican army and air force, it will have a military partner for any defense including cartels and terrorists.🇲🇽🇺🇲🇺🇸

25% is nothing, over several decades, China changed US made cars for 100% tax, that’s why China’s car companies developed so fast.

I think only a small proportion of US soil is made for agriculture and if the US puts tariff on major food imports it could cause food prices and shortages to rise up?

It does not matter, if Trump impose 200% levy on China because China trade volume with US have been decreasing significantly from 2018 15% to 2024 20% this will continue as
with high tariff.
China traded $140 billion with Global South and $110 billion with developed countries i.e
US, Europe, Japan and Australia. More than 120 countries have joined or applying for BRICS membership will make trading with developed countries especially US less significant.

Tariffs will accelerate dedollarisation because US imports and exports (mostly conducted in USD) will decelerate as countries retaliate with their own tariffs. Less trade between US and other countries will lead to decreased use of USD.

China's soya beans imports for example shifted from US to Brazil when China retaliated with tariffs on US soya beans, followed by ditching the USD.

Nov 22, 2024
BRASILIA - China and Brazil have reached a deal to trade in their own currencies, ditching the United States dollar as an intermediary, the Brazilian government said on Wednesday.

The deal, Beijing’s latest salvo against the almighty greenback, will enable China, the top rival to US economic hegemony, and Brazil, the biggest economy in Latin America, to conduct their massive trade and financial transactions directly, exchanging yuan for reais and vice versa instead of going through the US dollar.

CNA,
I am up to 10 videos in my new series (playlist), on my own YouTube Channel, which gives creative feedback on how to deal with TRUMP, not
through the magical-economic-paradigm, but through psychological and, dare I say, humanist principles!
Strangely, as much as I send the links to these videos to our elected officials here in Canada, none seem interested in gaining their insights?!?
Can you explain this yourself?
Sincerely,
Professor-Marty.
