(TA4.14) Strengthening peace and security data analytics

This session focuses on the use of data in the context of the peace and security work of the UN, including conflict prevention, peace mediation, peacekeeping and peacebuilding. The session launches the Peace and Security Data Hub, a joint initiative of the Departments of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) and Peace Operations (DPO) in response to the Secretary-General's Data Strategy. The panel will bring together experts from the UN Peace and Security Pillar as well as external speakers to reflect about the status quo and future of data-driven analysis to better sustain peace.
