So I thought I'd report back a month after I tried this... Without using the growth hormone I cut off some shoots and stuck them in water - within 2 weeks the aerial roots grew pretty long and strong - and after 3 weeks I potted them. They are all healthy and growing new leaves, so it was a success 🙌. Thanks again for the brilliant instructions!

Excellent. About a year ago, i saw this plant for the first time and fell in love, I enjoy how each leave looks different. Anyways, I was searching for ways to treat my plant better, it is having lots of yellow brownish stop and run into your video. I will try to propagate it as well. Should anybody know the ideal treatment to get them healthy, please let me know. Thanks

I wanted to ask when you prune the plant, what happens to the mother plant? I have a variegated one and im so afriad of pruning it in case the mother plant doesnt grow leaves anymore

I'm just wondering if the rooting hormone helps speed up the prcocess or does it just prevent rot?

Hi, this sounds great, just wondering what happens to the pice left in the pot? Does it grow or just stay cut?

Where does the plant grow from after it's cutting(mother plant)?

Is it required to use the rooting hormone? Because I just placed my cuttings straight into water.

I had propagated the related Pothos by cutting the vine into segments with one node having one leaf and some root. I cut above and below but close to the node. All cuttings rooted and sent new shoots from the node. Does it work equally for this Monstera?

If I have one singular and really long vine, can I create multiple propagations from that?

Can you propagate by planting directly into soil?

Great video! Just wish mine would start to vine so I can propagate and make it look full! I got mine in June last year as a baby with about 3 leaves and only one having any fenestration now it's grown so much but not trailing at all. Do you have any advice to get them or will it just take time as it's maturing?

All of my cuttings that I put in fresh clean water and dip in rooting hormone start turning black. What do I do?

Hi, I have tried repotting my monstera adanosii cuttings on 2 occasions now but the roots always die off once it is on the soil. What am I doing wrong? 😕
