On February 7 (Mon.), 2022, presentations by the 13 companies (excluding the 3 award winners) that passed the preliminary screening from among 88 applicants in the Financial Innovation Category was held.

※What is the Tokyo Financial Award?
As part of our “Global Financial City: Tokyo” Vision 2.0, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is hosting the Tokyo Financial Award. The award recognizes financial businesses that develop and provide innovative financial products and services contributing to solving the problems and meeting the needs of the people and businesses in Tokyo, as well as businesses that promote ESG investment.

※What is the Financial Innovation Category?
Residents and corporations in Tokyo are invited to submit any dissatisfaction or requests they have regarding the financial services in Tokyo. the TMG choose the theme to be resolved from these applications, and ask domestic and foreign financial companies offering relevant solutions to apply for.
For companies selected after the First-Stage screening, we provide support programs to brush up the products and services they develop and offer, including holding preliminary seminars, mentoring/business meetings, networking events, and business matching opportunities. The prizes will be 10 million yen, 5 million yen, and 3 million yen, in descending order.
