I’m Italian. And from Parma. There’s a reason it’s called Parmigiano and it’s make only here. It’s because there something in the kind of grass the cows eat that make Parmigiano it’s way. If it’s somebody from somewhere else, they’re making cheese. Surely not Parmigiano. Pretty sure of that.

I'm honestly tired of "proud italian tradition" in the americas. Regionally, sure...but I live in Alaska. I'm making spaghetti with excellent and fresh ingredients, but it isn't gonna be traditional because I'm not italian and i was Not raised in an italian culture. Suck it up.

Also, it feels like I'm talking to Mussolini in the way many folks respond, as if the whole world must adhere to this cultural law outside of the native country.
