In de gloednieuwe muziekcompetitie The Tribute - Battle of the Bands nemen tributebands het tegen elkaar op. Wie komt het meest in de buurt van het origineel? En wie krijgt met hetzelfde gemak de fans op de banken? De optredens worden beoordeeld door een vakjury, bestaande uit Cesar Zuiderwijk - drummer van de Golden Earring-, Angela Groothuizen en Spike, gitarist en zanger van DI-RECT. The Tribute - Battle of the Bands wordt gepresenteerd door Gerard Ekdom.
