I don't see how anyone can read these verses and think God approves of it. The only thing people can do is make excuses for it and if you have to make excuses for it then you should know it is wrong. Good video 😌

We are CONSTANTLY trying to change the Word of God to suit OUR desires rather than OBEYING God’s Word to please HIM!!
Thank you, young man!! I watched a little of a video that disturbed me: It has something to do with LGBTQ….?? ( add-on’s?) & Disney. People in the “parade” were carrying placards stating “It’s OK to say “gay” One placard stood out to me: GOD LOVES HOMOSEXUALS! Of course He does! BUT, He DOESN’T love HOMOSEXUALITY! He loves MURDERERS! BUT He DOESN’T love MURDER! God loves THIEVES, BUT He DOESN’T love THEFT! He loves ADULTERERS, BUT- He DOESN’T love ADULTERY! God loves the DISOBEDIENT BU, He DOESN’T love DISOBEDIENCE! God LOVES ALL SINNERS! BUT GOD! DOES NOT LOVE SIN!
If He did, why King Jesus? You CANNOT explain away God’s Word! TD Jakes, K. Copeland, Joel Olsteen (motivational speaker) 🥴may be afraid to proclaim the Words of the Lord but SOMEONE has to make a stand! “..And having done all, to STAND!! Ephesians 6:13 (KJV)

Very well said. It is an abomination to the Lord. The ONLY God ordained marriage is a man and woman.

“For this reason god gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to Nature; And the men Likewise gave up natural relations with woman and were consumed with the passion for one another. And receiving themselves due penalty for their error”- romans 1:26-27

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You can either serve your Homosexuality desire or God

I am a Muslim but this is an area where Islam and Christianity are totally in agreement. We all condemn homosexuality as a social evil, worthy of punishment by death. Romans 1:32 states 'Though they know God's decree, that those who do such things deserve to die, that not only do them but approve those who practise them.' This means the punishment of death should also come upon those who say it is ok to go ahead and commit homosexual acts. In Islam, some scholars believe the punishment for this crime should be to push the perpetrators from a high place and then throw rocks down onto them. Why? Because this is how God dealt with the people of Lot (peace be upon him), that is the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. In Holy Quran 15:74, God says 'And We made the highest part (of the city) its lowest and We rained upon them stones of baked clay'. Allahu Akbar.

It's only when we die then we will truly know where we went wrong. I don't want to come to that point. When we are breathing let's all try and always ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. Because it is only Him that will truly help us understand God's Plan and purpose in our life, Turn us away from sins we may think it's right. God did not leave us or abandon us to sin He just want us to truly seek Him. I'm lost but when I always pray there is always peace in his presence. I feel like the devil is winning. I dont want to loose everyone to him. We all are sinner at the end of the day but His Grace and Mercy is far greater then the very sin we think is beyond redemption. Love u all.

People denied the truth . Don't change the word of God for your desire. If you truly love God do His will and ask the power from Him

I think it is important to remember the context in which Paul mentioned homosexuality. It is idolatry which, in essence, is not related to homosexuality. He talks about a result of punishment, turning away from God. Therefore, e.g. a man, who is raised Christian, who feels it from his childhood and is happy about being able to express love in this way, and never abandoned God, cannot be punished in this context for idolatry. First of all God does not punish and second homosexuality is not idolatry.

To imply a man cannot be consumed with lust over women is a BOLD statement to make considering the state of onlyfans and such services

Just more boundary maintenance by certain Christian factions, using the purity test they have negotiated from the writings of Paul. First, the words, homosexual or homosexuality, are not in the original Greek text. Certainly, not as those words are used by any modern speaker of English. But that is just the posturing here of the same folks who have carefully over time renegotiated their biblical texts to remove significance from anything they find inconvenient while emphasizing that which they currently find useful to stress in terms of good or evil.

The other problem is that this content creator has whacked out a couple of verses from their context. For, if one reads the two sentences quoted in the context, say from verse 18 to 32 we see that a vengeful Christian deity is angered because certain people are not believing or behaving in the manner this deity demands. They dared to not glorify or give thanks to this deity. So, the deity is the one who shoves them into these actions. And after he shoves them into them, the deity then condemns them for doing what he forced them into doing.

So, is it foul and disgusting that some powerful creature forces his minions to commit actions that they would not otherwise commit? Yes. It is the act of an evil and malevolent deity. And then, this deity punishes them for doing the actions. Much like an abusive spouse might brutally beat their partner while proclaiming, "Why do you make me punish you".

But one thing I do find interesting is that Paul does discuss and condemn these men and women for giving in to lust. But Paul was very much a Greco-Roman of his time. Heterosexual sex was also evil and sinful, only to be engaged in to procreate. Passion and lust were considered evil, a giving into one's animalistic urges. Therefore, Paul tells married couples to only have enough sex to keep themselves from being so inflamed with passion that they cannot control themselves and they burn with desire. He also tells single people that it is better that they not marry at all. That they remain celibate. Though he does say that if they are too weak to be celibate then they can marry but the same situation as above - only enough impassionate sex as is required to keep control over one's animal urges. But I sincerely doubt that there are any good single Christians out there who have sworn to remain celibate until death. I doubt there are many married Christians out there who once the wife is no longer fertile, immediately cease all sexual activity. Finally, I doubt that many Christian couples out there are only engaging in passionless sex for the purpose of procreation only. Those little bits have been tossed by the wayside - they are only "suggestions".

But let's go on a bit here. First, in modern society, we don't describe passions, behaviors, or physical effects on the human body, of dyscrasia, i.e., imbalances in certain humors [bile, phlegm, etc.] in the body. We do however look at sexual orientation as an enduring pattern of emotional, romantic, and/or sexual attractions to men, women, or both sexes. Paul is not discussing homosexuality because Paul had no idea what that word was nor the definition of it. Likewise, the authors of any of the various books of the Bible that reference homosexuality had no idea of the word or its definition. Paul and those other authors would have been familiar with certain pagan fertility rituals that involved same-sex activity as well as heterosexual activity. They would have been aware of prostitutes, typically slaves, who were forced to engage in same-sex or heterosexual acts with customers of the brothel where they worked. They would have been aware of masters who sexually abused both male and female slaves. But the concept of two males or two females living together in the same fashion as a married heterosexual couple, loving each other was something that simply was not something they recognized or discussed. That being said, here in Romans, Paul wants to visit Rome. He wants to stick his staff into Peter's wheel and shove himself into Peter's patch. He knows there are Christians in Rome, and he is writing to them. This entire letter is his attempt to establish his bonafide. His comments here are solely for that purpose, to get his foot in the door. Telling the believers that the ones who have rejected the teaching the believers have accepted and that god is punishing those reprobates as a result would go over quite well. And given the comments posted in response to this little video, it seems it still causes pride to rise in the breasts of Christians to this day.

Father God, I loosen the promise of the word of romans 1:24-27 and 2 corinthians 6:14-18 for myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances and my opponents and the body of Christ binding to restore all dishonorable passions in honorable passions that goes by God his natural design while binding myself not being unequally yoked with an unbeliever that engages in dishonorable passions, while loosening myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ of every spirit of homosexuality and dishonrable passions, while loosening myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those who carry a spirit of homosexuality and those that desire dishonorable passions, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

This interpretation assumes a lot.

It’s clear that they explicitly refer to males in Romans 1:26-27.

However, why then, would they vaguely refer to the women this way first?

Is it possible they are not referring to “lez bean izm”, between women, but could it be they are referring to women taking back door entrance from men?

“Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones”

The “natural” could be referring to reproductive practices between men and women’s parts, vs “unnatural” meaning even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones referring to the woman’s back door.

Then they refer to men doing the same “unnatural” act that was also done with women’s back door by men.

If this is possibility the case, is there any verse that actually demonstrates beyond the ambiguous assumption that has been made here about natural vs unnatural?

Admittedly, they likely would not have been in favor of women with women, but that is a different matter than them making that clearly stated.

Actually, this verse seems go out of its way to not state specifically anything about women with women.
It was a male dominated culture, so it’s not surprising that they wouldn’t even consider what women do with EACH OTHER, but they would consider what women did WITH MEN.

Without explicitly stating it, like many other verses, this is another matter of interpretation. Ironically then, it seems to be all some religious people have, and it seems then that the religious people are the ones doing the twisting.
